WHERE TO FIND US  

 

A National FA Community Charter Club

Secretary

Main Purpose of Role

To co-ordinate all team activities with a responsibility for fixtures and incoming/outgoing contacts and correspondence.

Actual Duties Involved

Organise fixtures and pitch bookings

Receive correspondence and reply/delegate/distribute as required

Main contact point with the FA and Leagues

Process result cards and record details for press officer

Process player registration forms and competition and affiliation forms

Instruct assistant secretary on support activities

Receive and distribute internal information

Arrange insurance and handle claims

Maintain and distribute centrally held equipment as required

Liaise With

Team contacts

Club officers, particularly chair and assistant secretary

The Postholder will be responsible to

The club committee, reporting to the Chair

Meetings to Attend

All club meetings

Meetings of Leagues and FA as required

Adhoc meetings with other officers

Estimated time commitment

15 hours per week

Term

Twelve month term, subject to renewal at each annual general meeting.
